Enrollment
Requirements
General
Requirements:
- A completed Student
Application form (with the required $25 application fee) must
be received along with a recent head and shoulders photograph of
the student.
- A completed Medical Information form for the applying
student.
- A definite conversion experience is required.
(Therefore a written autobiographical sketch and three personal
and professional referrals are included as requirements in our Student
Application form.)
- Students are also expected to meet a high
standard of moral, academic and spiritual ethics, as presented in
our Code of Honor, while enrolled
at Reality College.
Academic
Requirements:
- Potential students should be at least 17
years of age and have earned a high school diploma or
equivalent.
- A certified copy of all available academic
records (i.e. GED, High School & College transcripts, and
ACT/SAT scores) must be received by Reality
College.
(NOTE: If the applicant has been home-schooled,
a certificate of graduation must be received from the appropriate
registering authority.)
If you have not graduated from high school, you
may be accepted under one of the following conditions:
- If the applicant is 21 years old and out of
school two years, they will be accepted on 'academic probation'.
This means that they must prove their capability during the first
semester.
- Older, mature applicants will be accepted
upon the recommendation of the admissions
committee.
Married Couples & Non-Traditional
Students:
Some of the students attending Reality College
are 'non-traditional' students. These are people who have been out
of high school for a few years and have tasted 'real' life. Aside
from the 'General' and 'Academic' requirements stated above, unique
considerations are made at Reality College to accommodate students
that are attending as a married couple. These include:
- Private housing (available off campus and at
reasonable rental rates) for married couples and their children
(on a first-come, first-served basis).
- Referrals for Christian Day Care centers and
local schools.
Married Student/Single Parent Relocation
Policy:
Married students must relocate with their spouse
and dependent children. Single parents must relocate with their
dependent children. Studying at Reality College is not an
acceptable reason for separation from a marriage partner or
children. |
